Centered around a fragment of floral pattern and classic script presented in muted colors, this concept is meant to convey serenity and nostalgia.

What me, business owner?

This summer, I’m challenging myself to fully embrace being a business owner. I’ve been working as a freelance designer since December 2008, and have been very lucky to have steady work. Lately, the work has slowed down and it’s time to actively go out and get new clients. That’s something I’ve never had to do before and I’m a little scared. As part of my process to becoming a business owner is finding out what kind of designer I am/want to be. So, to all my graphic designer friends out there, how do you define yourself as a graphic designer?
